88 vs. 95 jug specs
Just wondering... If one were to bore out 88 jugs to the bore of 95 jugs, would the cylinder wall thickness be the same or do the 88 and 95 jugs have the same wall thickness from the factory? Would the bored out 88 jugs be thinner and be more prone to problems?
Wondering if there is any benifit to buying a 95 "kit" or should I just have mine bored out to match a piston/ring set?

Have your original jugs bored and honed to fit.... Reasons are as follows....
1. Cylinder material is already "Seasoned"....
2. Boring/Honing assures your pistons are matched to their respective jugs (Providing you have a good machinist)....
3. Less take home parts, and boring is less expensive than purchasing new jugs that might not be correct....
4. Depending on the condition of your case paint, the seasoned jugs will match better than a new set....
