Other than bragging rights, why does everyone feel it's necessary to pull your trailer house off it's blocks with their motorcycle? You can't use everything you've got all the time with a stock machine, let alone 100+ anything.
. Everyone seems to hate these heads but might be worth a try in a engineered package like this, all the experts on this forum are always touting the merits of an engineered package so why not this one?
Because those are the same engineers that are in a class action suit right now because their engines run so hot.
The 110 heads had another not so well publicized problem. Valves sticking and pulling the guides from the head thus bending valves. Not a huge problem but one that is also heat related.

A good friend tossed his 110's due to that issue, he bought em used, whoops.
Those heads are actually decent; ask any head porter that has worked them. Granted, there are issues but the issue can be addresses fairly economically. They can be had cheap on Ebay, don't require extensive porting and basically just need new bronze guides, performance valve job, some cleanup and maybe decking for compression depending on cams. If they are purchased for a decent price, a good baseline to start with; you just need to know what you are buying and what needs to be done to make the heads viable; like BadBagger did.

I read entire class action law suite. It encompasses about 5 guys in California. Granted if it succeeds it will have ramifications for most of us on the effected bikes, but don't hold your breath. It could take 10 years.
I have a 2010 FLHTK. It ran exceptionally hot when I got it. My head pipes were so hot they actually turned flat titanium green from the exhaust port back, both head pipes. The front half of the mufflers were blue/purple. I couldn't stop at a light without the rear cylinder cutout taking effect.
I had the dealer check the bike. They found MOCO had put the wrong map in the computer. I did the stage I, they installed the correct map and all my problems went away. At 26,850 miles I did the stage III. It now has 27,400 on the clock and It runs even cooler now. I live in South Florida next to the sun.
