sorry, took my fuel gauge off and put on a flush cap. now fuel gauge = odometer as it should be on a motorcycle imho.

mine seems to go from like 3/4 to empty but it seems I ride on empty forever! I don't know it is still realativly new and everyone tells me it is comon for a harley.

The old "fuel gauge = odometer". It's safe just to stop every 100 miles and "fill-er-up" because you can't accurately adjust for weather, grade, head-wind and engine conditions.
