Mikuni 45 Overflow Hose

Mikuni 45 Overflow Hose
I am installing a new Mikuni 45 and had to grind the fins away to get it to fit. Now I am wondering how to route the overflow hose at the bottom of the float bowl. Anyone have any thoughts on this, before I just take it off all together, and be done with it.

I ran my hose down between the rear pushrod tubes and down around the space between my engine and trans toward the inner prymary cover where I let it turn down.
I have a Dyna so I tiestraped it to the vent hose that runs from the engines lower case to the trans top cover.
good luck, PS I had to grind the barrels too, no biggie.
enjoy you new carb! If you find that the carb is too fat in the mid-range and it hard to tune it out, look at Head-Quarters Mikuni tuning kit, I only used the emulsion tube, but it worked wonders!
