I have stock headers with slip on Reinhart mufflers on 08 street glide. Is it worth the expense to change to true duels and will I get more hp. I'm also looking for just a bit more volume on the pipes. I've been told by several that the stock headers with the crossover is the best setup.

 

Please do a little research (not being a jerk just giving you a heads up), this is covered weekly on the board. The short answer is: you will lose lots of low end torque with the true duals (I have the dyno to prove it). A 2-1 system will make the best power and the stock pipes with some slip-ons are a great (and cheap) compromise.

 

You also might find that "Good" slip on's are so close to 2-1 performance the only reason you might want to change is if you like the look of 2-1. True duals will hurt your low end.
