I've seen this asked before but never saw an answer....07 FLHT, K&N filter....alot of oil blowing into filter and then back on pipe...did thorough cleaning of filter and two small hoses....still blowing....why?

double check oil level. too much oil and a fast sustained run can blow oil...

search 'oil blow-by'

Have you cleaned the filter lately? Cleaned mine and had filter oil on the pipes for a week or so - even after letting the filter dry for a couple of days. The oil on my pipes and below the air filter was purple (filter oil) whereas the engine oil is darker.
