Default hpi sucks (in a good way!)

finally put the icing on my year-old build:
08 fxdse 110"
r&r stage 4 heads
se 257 cams
hpi 55mm throttle body
se injectors
wood 3.25 a/c
10.7 compression
supertrapp supermeg 2 into 1, 28 discs closed
power commander
stock pistons, jugs, clutch
model 250 dyno, recently updated

old run differences: se a/c...stock tb & injectors...21 discs closed

shoulda done this a year ago!

Default quick revs

How do you like the ride? My 01 Dyna revs so quick with those heads that everybody that rides it is surprised.
98" with stock cylinders
R&R stage 4 head work
RR615 cam
10.5 JE pistons
Bassani Road Rage
R&R Big Air Carb

well I'm over it already...it really is a sickness...don't like the way the new t/body has moved the powerband to the right...doesn't get on the pipe 'til 3500...should I 4&5/8 stroke to 116 or get shorter, 600+ lift cams?

wood 3.25 a/c...best hp was 28 discs with closed end cap, 24 discs (closed) made 4 fewer hp and no more tq...we also tried 28 discs and no end cap, no improvement......we set afr and did timing swings with all configurations...knowing this, would you still try 21 discs open?

Yes, HP inc. 55mm is a very good TB. I've run it on a Jim's 120" and I'm now runnin it on a Jim's 131". I also run the HPI ac with the swept cone, which I understand they don't make anymore.
Your dyno numbers are very respectable. BTW, do you know what your SE injector HD part number is?

21 with open end cap , not 21 with no end cap, sorry I didn't make that clear. It does make a difference, and keep trying more discs if nessessary. And also dont get too hung up on #'s , how does the bike ride with the bigger tb on? You sounded thrilled until you read the sheet, I am going to try 62mm on a 103, sometimes the sheet does not tell the whole story.Hope you get it to where you are thrilled again!
