Default Andrews roller cam conversion help

I am about to do the Andrews roller cam chain drive conversion.

When I took out the old Cam Plate, I did not align the cam marks before removing. Just pulled it out

Upon reading the instructions, I saw:

4. Before proceeding further, put the transmission in 4th or
5th gear. Remove both spark plugs so there will be no
resistance from compression pressure. Now turn the rear
wheel and align camshaft timing marks. This will simplify
installation of new cams.

Can someone tell me what I need to do to proceed?

2005 Twin Cam 88

thanks in advance

Dont worry about it, line up the marks on the cams, install them then line up the marks on the front sprocket between the cam and crank gear and you will be good to go, Todd

What duke said. What they are having you do is to be able to turn the motor over easily when lining up the timing marks and to turn the motor when adjusting push rods.
