I pretty sure it should be a no contest for the HQ build, but I'd really like to hear from those that know.
I've got a friend with a deposit down on an 09' CVO Road Glide and we're just wondering what it will take to beat him?
Dyno #'s for both or either anyone?

 

The stock 110" motor is not all the impressive at all..............maybe like 95tq/85hp, and even those might be a little high.

It's a good platform to start with, but the 110" needs headwork and a good set of cams to really make it perform like it should.

A local tuner managed 98hp and 113ft/lb torque on a 110 CVO with Rinheart TD's. A well tuned 107" HQ build will embarass the 110 with little problem.

 

if you're still running the build in your signature, you'll beat him easily...he'd have to at least do a stage 1 plus cams to outrun you

 

A good tune on the HQ 107 with the .575 Firestorm cams should yeild just north of 120 lbs of torque!

He11, a mildly mod'd 95 will spank a factory CVO 110.

 

My HQ 95" spanks the factory CVO 110's at the track all the time.

 

Is that what you tell people your running now.....man.....At least tell these guys its a 97 ci Axtell....Don't worry, since HD doesn't make those cyls, your bike has to be slow.

 

first i ask them how fast is that bike...playin dumb is usually an indicator that my bike is slow and since im usually wearin sneakers and a sweat shirt they think they got me...
then they ask me if i would like to look over their bike.. i kindly say no need ..then i usually ask them how many lengths do they want... now this is usually where stupidity takes over pride and they say something like wtf dont you know who i am... its usually the guy with the $80,000 chopper withh the S&S 124 motor loud pipes custom paint job you know showin off and braggin about how bad his chopper is. ...and i say ill give ya 10 lengths...... they say no its a pride thing...but i give them a few lengths any way... the light turns green they all take off i wait and count to 5 then i nail it... catching up is easy do you know how hard it is to go around a couple of guys who are going at it real hard.... as i blow by the lead bike getting a quick look at his face he is not happy.... then ya stay away from that part of town for a while cause you know they are pissed....
