Default 1000 mile service

wil it void warrenty if you go past 1000 miles on your first service ? can't get to dealer until next month , have 1100 miles on now, prob have 1500 when I take it in for service

If they see 1001 on the odometer you are screwed. Well not really but you should change the oil and filter now.

Well its like this , a dealer can deny wty for any number of reasons, generally though factory base wty issues are left up to the dealer to detirmine if the failure you have is a warrentable one, in certain cases they may refer back to their district service manage ( a rep from the moco) But usually its the dealers call, So that being said make a good releation ship with your dealer, try to stick to the maintence guidlines but if your a little over you should not have an issue .
Keep in mind though if you have an extended wty it is different than the factory wty , but still the decision is usually up to the dealer.

Save your receipts and do it yourself or pay an Indy to do it and document everything per manual,you can put whatever mileage you want down in log.Does the MoCo care if you went over a few miles,or dealer? I doubt it! A good dealer will look the other way.
