I was wondering if I just have bad gasoline or if i need to have the fuel injection cleaned, and how od i fix the popping or backfiring when decelerating?

Is there a fuel additive that can help keep things clean?

And please don't say i need to have it dyno'd don't have that kind of cash right now

what pipes are you running? when i had v&h longshots on my '00 FB and removed the baffles it give the popping backfire on deceleration no matter what brand gas I used

 

It sounds like the bike has aftermarket slip-ons on factory headpipes, and the mixture was never richened. Decel pop occurs when a bike is too lean and upon letting off the throttle, there is not anough fuel in the combustion chambers to support good combustion, and the mixture heads out of the motor unburned, later to be auto-ignited in the hot pipes causing a pop. If the bike idles good, nothing is wrong with your fuel injection. Live with the pop, or get it richened up (tuned).

 

i have an 07 streetbob and when i start it, it smokes when i rev it, any in put?

 

Be sure to check the exhaust at the rear headpipe for cracks, could cause your problems, as could the idle stepper motor, for the 07 Bob if you are talking about immediately after startup that is actually pretty common as the bike is still in warmup enrichment mode.
