Default Big Sucker air filter...

I am currently running a K&N filter with the stock cover on my 95 FX Springer. Will switching to an Arlen Ness Big Sucker do anything besides look cool?

Thanks.

Use a stock round 51/2 cover there are some neat ones out there,I run the filter open except for long trips with a chance of rain then back to the football.

Same here, I have the round full cover when looks like rain or long trips, open filter with HD filter plate when in town. Bike seems to like the open air, may try the cover that has openings front and back to direct air over the filter but will also keep it dry.
