Hi all...

I'm thinking about increasing the ci on my stock EVO engine.

Well, it's not completely stock, as the crankcase is S&S. My concern now, is how big a cylinder can I mount on top of my crankcase, without the need of grinding metal away from the flange on the block?

In my opinion your there already....the cylinder will be too thin to run without boring the cases. How much power are you looking for ? I have a package for a 80'' evo that does 100/100 but it will cost you about $4500.00 to build.

 

I was thinking about purchasing Axtells 97ci cylinder and piston set. My hope was that my S&S crankcase was already prepared for this upgrade in a manner where a direct bolt-on was possible. I'll guess I'm not that lucky huh...?

 

Not sure about the S&S case...best give them a call.
