Vance & Hines Pro-Pipe BP

I have an original Pro-Pipe on my 99 Train, which has a built 96" SS. Kicking out 105hp/109torque. Dyno results for pipe w/ and w/o baffle as well as racing baffle. Best performance was w/ the original baffle. But if I really want the bike to scream, grunt is a better word, I remove the stock baffle and run open pipe. Holy Crap, is what all my riding friends tell me. It sounds like a fricking monster.
Pro-Pipe is a great product, in my opinion. The only mod I did to the pipe was the mounting bracket. My bike is slammed 3" both front and back, and the bracket kept grinding into the pavement and lifting the bike. I cut it down, and have had no problems.
Another friend purchased a PP HS, his did not sound the same. This is what he stated, and I could also hear the difference. There was a hollow, tin sound from his pipe.
Great product and improved the performance of my motor. IMHO, and the dyno run shows.

Propipe BP for 2008 FLSTC
I just ordered a Propipe BP for my 08 Softail Classic. It sounds like a great exhaust. I've already got a SE hi flo air cleaner on it. My question is: do I need to install a Fuelpak right away? I've heard that the '08 computer will adjust for the exhaust and ac changes to the bike. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
