New to the forum.&nbsp\\; Wanted to run this past the pros.&nbsp\\; Currently running screaming eagles and thinking of treating myself for my birthday to a set of Vance Hines Big Radius pipes.

Comments, suggestions please.&nbsp\\; Especially about the sound difference.

I have V&H BR on my 04 Deuce and love them!

 

Everyone has thier own option, mine happens to support Cobra pipes, added them to my FXDSE, they sound better than v&amp\\;h, cost bout the same, the chrome is better, and they offer just as many different styles as v&amp\\;H. I would never consider a slip-on though, the factory pipes are too restrictive.

 

Thanks Dopeman &amp\\; bluesssman.&nbsp\\; I did search on the forum - read everything I could on the exhaust world.&nbsp\\; I might be the resident expert - for the next 5 minutes maybe.&nbsp\\; Read about Big City Thunder baffles.&nbsp\\; You can hear a lot of these exhausts on youtube.&nbsp\\; Especially big radius &amp\\; BCT.&nbsp\\; I think I have to go with trying the BR's first - for the experience - then on to Thunder baffles.&nbsp\\; They're only $80 bucks.&nbsp\\; You only live once.

Another thing I learned is that no one really is crazy about the decel pops.&nbsp\\; So l guess leaving the baffles in - whatever the flavor - is also the better idea.&nbsp\\; The forum is also pretty much in agreement that BR's smooth out at highway speed.

How much jetting is required in these exhaust / baffle changes???

Not too much on that in the search.
