If you are running a S&amp\\;S carb the screw on the right is the accelerator pump adjustment

The screw adjusts the throw on the Acceleration pump rod....this adjust the amount of fuel used as the throttle is rolled on. It won't hurt anything but if it's using too much fuel your gas mileage will be down and if it's too little fuel the bike will hesitate wnder hard accleration
