06 Streetglide Vibration (reposted)
I posted this in the Touring forum, but thought I might try here also:
I have an 06 Streetglide, Thundermax with autotune, and Rinehart true dual (25000 miles). I have a real bad vibration in the 1500 to 1900 rpm range. I have had 3 sets of speaker supports, and 2 sets of radio uprights supports replaced under warranty. Warranty has expired, now it is on my dime. Last night on the way home another radio upright broke. I bought a new set and had a gusset welded to the mounting ear (see attached), since this is where they break. I have replaced the front motor mount, and checked the center one. I did not pay much attention to this until I road my sons 08 Streetglide (sweet). It seems to me that this should be considered a continuing problem that was covered under warranty. Does anyone else have a problem like this. Just asking. Thanks. BTW does anyone have a contact number/name for the H-D rep in the Maryland area.
