Default spark plug read - too lean?

I got 5600 miles, all stock with exception of K&N- RK3909 High Flow Air Filter kit, Redline synthetic 20-50w for crank, Redline VTwin shockproof for tranny . Pulled plugs: Strap is white, porcelan is light grayest in spots. hopefully pics will help... Any advice?

thankx guys. Just getting to learn how to really read a spark plug. Not sure if I had to go with Fuel Mgt. system to richen things out a little. Was going to wait until I install new pipes over the winter. Or should I go with a Fuel Mgt system now? Also, should I be using the "Iridium", "Triple Platnum", or just the recommended plug next?

Save your money and get the stock plug. There is a good read on plugs in the do it your self section here.

Here you have a good web page about how to read the spark plugs:

http://www.4secondsflat.com/plug_chart.html

I have tried some kinds and brands of spark plugs in my bike and I think that the best value for the money are the stock ones. They work well and are cheaper than others

I do not know if this link is present in the good read Doc alludes to, but the best set of sparkplug-reading information I have been able to find starts at http://www.dragstuff.com/techarticle...ark-plugs.html

Especially good (and pertinent to us) is the last link in that page section called Additional Spark Plug Related Resources
