Default Warming up my TC88B properly

Ok. I'm new to the Harley family. I have a 03 FXST carbed. I have done the Stage 1 work. Including rejetting. My question is. It seems to take a long time for it to warm up to where it will idle with out feeling like it's going to stall(sounds just like a car trying to die, clunky and rough). I have read everything close to this issue. I have my idle speed perfect as well as my idle mixture seems correct 2 and 1/2 turns out. I have a 48 slow jet (45 stock) and a 195 main jet (stock 190). Is this just the way it is? The thing that really bothers me is if I have the bike warmed up and make a stop for something 15 minutes or so. I have to pull the enricher half way out or keep a little on the throttle for a little ways. Am I just being a bitch or is there something else I could try? By the way the temps are usually around 70. Thanks for your time.

If you really think its lean, then richen the pilot up one more size and compare the results.

Check for an intake leak. Check to make sure there isn't a hole in the rubber diaphram in the carb. If that doesn't get it, increase the idle speed a little or richen the mixture.

my 04 Deuce acted the same way, warm up the bike good, then set the idle up a little. not saying you but a lot of guys idle em down trying to get the shovelhead sound. aint gonna happen on a TC88. your diaghram only works with thottle accel. you can remove your aircleaner and start the bike, twist the throttle and you should see the slid moving up. it stits at rest during idle

If you don't have a tach on your bike. I would find
a way to see what your idle speed is really at. I personally
like to keep it at 1000. As for warming her up in the morning,
I pull the choke to start her, push it in to the middle setting
immediately, ride it like that for about a kilometer, then I push
the choke in the rest of the way.

Thanks for the responses guys. The diaghram is in good shape. I think a 48 slow jet is&nbsp\\;rich enough. I did all the rejetting myself so I have gone through the carb quite well. I don't have a tach so that has got to be it. I am trying to get that Harley sound out of it and the 88 doesn't like it. I will adjust the idle speed up&nbsp\\;once&nbsp\\;I have warmed it up and see if that helps.&nbsp\\;
