Default High mileage cam, what did I expert!

This project seemed to snowball! Stator blew so I figured it was time to change the chain tensioner. Well I think I found the tap when I pulled the front exhaust push-rod and found it a little bent, SE quick installs. So I pull out the cams, check the lobes, pick up a set of SE perfect fit 00-3s, tappets and a set of tensioner. Unfortunately I didn't notice the pitting on the end of the front cam. so now its a cam bearing jid and cams. The bike is a 02 FLHTCUI with a SE 103 kit dealer installed. I like the torque it has with the 253s but from what I am reading, I could get even more with a different cam. This thing allegedly has 9:1 com. and most of my running is around 2000 to 45k maybe 5k. Any help?
