I just installed the Ovals -- love 'em. You'll have trouble getting off your bike once you hear them installed. I have the FuelPak and I'm waiting for the Stage-1 kit to arrive. From what others have said, the FP works well, but others probably will do the job. I went with the FP to go with the V&H pipes. Many will advise not to get the HD download -- it is reportedly still too lean, to comply with EPA. The FuelPak is easy to set up and can be tweaked without a Dyno.

Yeah, what he said. If you're going with V&H pipes and no engine mods the Fuelpak is the easiest fastest way to go. Don't bother with the download if you get the Fuelpak.

I'm pretty much doing the same thing to my SG as soon as the parts come in.

I was looking at doing the same mods to my bike, Vance and Hines slip-on ovals, fuel pak and the air filter. The question I have is can I replace my stock air filter with just a K&N filter ? Would this filter fit inside my stock cover ? Would this be the same as adding the SE stage 1 air filter kit ?
