my wife works at a boat dealership and someone traded in a 2001 fatboy. along with the bike they also gave a BUNCH of parts. what i am looking at is that there is a set of exhaust pipes that i like. they are the smaller diamater 3" maybe and looks like a small baffle inside. now i know i have 2007 road king and these pipes pipes wouldnt fit. but i really dont think they didnt come off of a fat boy. i think he had something else that i dont know they have the same bracket mount that i have on mine, but it is set back farther. so first wondering if anyboy has an idea for what these are. and the big question is can that mount be cut off and re-welded in the location that i need for my set-up and then have the pipes rechromed? thanx

Sure, any good TIG welder can fix that up.

 

better be a great set of pipes for 're-welding and re-chroming'.
If it were me, I would find that after all the re-welding and chroming.......
I didn't like the pipes after all. LOL
