I just had Bean do my heads complete with comp releases. Haven't run them yet due to my own buffoonery
but they appear as high quality units. Nice attention to detail. I'm sure this subject will get beat to death. A lot of
this subjects depends on how deep your pockets are.

Whoever you go with - GET compression releases installed at same time. Wish I found this in my research - live and learn.

But, I also resommend Bean at Big Boyz.

Thanks all for the info.

What are the compression releases?? ( dum question, probably)

Also, has anyone used Dan Vance for porting? He is on ebay, and for $595.00 he will raise ports CNC polish and valves..springs..etc.

Well, you have a choice, be the first to try theses heads, and let us know how they worked out.

or just get some heads off ebay and send them to HQ and know for sure what your getting.

PS.. compresion releases are valves that are instaled in the heads next to the spark plug holes, they help when you have higher than stock compresion to aide on hot restarts to save your starter!

Thanks again to all of you
I don't know if compression release valves would be neccessary on just a port and polish job, would they?
