Default S & S 106 Hot Set Up - Twin Cam

Any one have any experience using this kit? Have 2008 FLHX SE AC & Remap. Don't want to hodgepodge a bunch of mismatched parts only to spend $$$ and be disappointed. Have had Shovels and Evos this is my First TC and first Bagger so I don't know what to expect with mods on this configuration. Thanks for the help!

You would do well to look at a 107" setup from HQ or GMR. Bore your stock jugs to match pistons, good cam, headwork, tuning system, A/F and a good2 into 1 exhaust and you will be in hog heaven..

Headquarters has a complete package that IMO is hard to beat and is really streetable without fear of "overbuilding". The results from their packages are great and consistently attained from engine to engine.

I have a 95" kit from head-quarters. When I pulled the trigger on this build, I did tons of research. when I spoke to Doug from HQ, I told him that I didn't want a race motor and he told me flatly that he didn't make race motors and that his motors are made for torque and reliablility. Reliability. Thats the word that I wanted and not, "It'll get you from this bar to the ER quicker than S@*T".

All good posts so far..I would forget about the SS106 kit all together for you. Like everyone said a nice 103 or all bore 107 with good heads and nice cam to match...I would like a set of hillside heads with a TW6, 6H or an 8 cam with proper compression. Would spank many bikes out there and be reliable as could be.

Other recomend Baisley and Headquarters. Heard great thing about them all, just have no experiance with them directly. Call a couple vendors and see who you get the fuzzy feeling with.
