Default Harley Hose Clamp Pliers??

Anyone know where to get Harley tool# HD-41137? I have searched all over the internet and of course Harley will not sell the tool. I am only looking to use these hose clamps because they are going in the gas tank. Otherwise does anyone know of a safe alternative for in the gas tank?

I use a plier intended for CV joint axle clamps on front wheel drive cars, can be bought at just about any auto parts house.

Look for Oetiker pliers on ebay. I bought a set made by Knipex. And yes, you can buy CV joints pliers, if you buy the light duty ones, they work OK. The original clamps do look (and work) good on most everything. I use regular stainless steel worm drive clamps on the fuel tank crossover and petcok to fuel line connection, just for simplicity if ever I have to pull the tank somewhere besides the home shed.

Good call on both parts guys!! Thank you. I went with a kit on ebay that comes with the pliers and the clamps. Hopefully they are fine for in the tank. I worry about some metals and didn't want to take the chance of the typical hose clamp with the screw. I assume this is what you meant by worm drive clamp. I know what you are saying about fixing on the road but if it comes to that I will have to borrow a garage or shed Thanks for the help!! It is good knowledge for the future as far as the cv joint crimp tool. I hope that I can store some facts to help others in my travels. Thanks again!!

Get a set of the cv pliers bluepoint YA 3080. They work great , the have a center section that give you the correct clamp load on the clamp. Bryan stop being cheap and buy a pair [8D]

I hope he didn't buy a kit off ebay that comes with the 2-eared clamps. Great if you're working pvc or air line and have 40 acres to get to both sides of the hose with the pliers.

Wink Flat clamp pliers

I have used it the past a side cutter and carefully crimp the clamp alittle on each side. But latly I use a nipping pliers both seem to work well, Just dont clamp to hard with either one. I just did my fuel tank again today and use the nipping pliers on all 3 clamps.
