Installed thundermax on buddys bike.He did all the computer work.I just wrenched.He know I hate these things.The problem is the idle control valve doesnt work now.We tried replacing it with one I had from another injector.You can put finger over hole in injector and bike firesup fine and idles good.remove finger and it idles very high.The piston moves but doesnt seem to stroke enough.
One question is if the original was bad during the first few fireups do re need to redo the intializing crap again.Second is there chance the throttle position sensors has problem since its a bored out unit and position maybe cpl degrees off.
tried to tell him to buy a damn carb like I did,think hes just tring to sell his bike after I shoot it. any ideas let me know.

 

I've seen the high idle on mine when the IAC stops weren't initialized right. I'd try clearing the learned idle control adjustments and then run the initialization procedure again. You didn't mention what year bike you're talking about. If it's a 2005 or older, use the IAC-Auto function. If it's a2006 or newerbike, just follow the procedure in the manual and run the head temp up to 289 degrees while monitoring the changes.

 

Ill try just pain to take computer down and carry to shop(10 miles away) to redo this thing.
