Yes....., I hate to say it but you have some bent valves....heads got to come off. When you adjust push rods it's VERY important not to turn the engine over until the lifter bleeds downandthe push rod spins with your fingers...this assures you that the valve is on the seat, then and only then should you go to the next push rod to adjust. I bet this is just what happened to you.

 

Appreciate your help. Sounds like I'd be better off puttingthe bikein the shop to have fixed instead of trying to myself. Man, I hate loosing the bike for who knows how many months and especially during the beginning of spring. Again thank you very much for your input and time.

No sure wouldn't .....I was hoping I knew somone close to you but I don't. I'm in Florida....Central Florida where Micky controlls all the money and we have to go North to get into the Deep South.

 

Thats cool. I contact a local shop today and will be dropping bike off there this Saturday. He said he can get it done fairly quickly but just depends on getting parts in. Thanks again for all your help.
