Hugh Jass
Enter 20 to 30 units below 1750 rpm's to 4500rpm's.......that should get rid of the popping, if thete is a sligt bit left add 5 more units.

doc1,

Thanks for the reply, but can you give me a little more clarification please? In the 0% throttle column, between 1750 and 4500, there are nothing but 0's. Between 1750 and 4500 there are 12 spaces. So my question would be in those 12 spaces, should I put 2 in each 0 space? The only numbers I have in the 0 positionare 1250rpm- 5 and 1500rpm- 5 The rest are 0's.

In the 2% throttle position 2750 to 4500 is 0's. There are 8 spaces between 2750 and 4500.
1250- 9 1500- 16 1750- 15 2000- 12 2250- 5 2500- 9

How should I put the numbers in to stop the poppin'?

Thank You!
HJ

Make all those spaces 20 or 30....it doesn't matter at this point. If you make them 20 and it still pops then add 10 more which will make them 30. Try this first.Add 20 to each grid listed the hit INSERT key....now try the bike out and see if it pops....if it does make the grids listed to a 30 each and then hit INSERT key and try it again.....if it gets worse that it was at the begining make the listed grids -20 then hit INSERT key an dtry that.

Do these numbers go into BOTH fuel tables or just table 1?

Good point Hugh Jass....if your doing an ADVANCED map the numbers wil have to go into both #1 ad #2 fuel tables.......unless......you know what cylinder is doing the popping, then you can address that one alone. #1 is the rear and #2 is the front with a PC III

Good call Hugh Jass

Doc,

I tried values of 10, 20, 30 and it still popped on decel. I will email you the maps I used. If you would be so kind as to look at them and make a recommendation, I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks
HJ

I have an 07 FXST. I had some popping and found my header bolts were lose, even after a SERT and Python 2 into 1. It seems I have to tighten them up every 300 to 400 miles or so.

Tighten the top nut of the front cylinder head exhaust flange to 9-18 in-lbs.
Tighten the bottom nut to 100-120 in-lbs
Thenthe top to 100-120 in-lbs

Reverse the processon the rear cylinder by startingwith the bottom bolt.
