Default RE: question for Doc 1

as for doing fuel controller your self If your not confident enought to change the pipes Id think 10 times about the controller.Pipes are super simple to change. Some controllers are fairly simple, but they need dyno or someone very good at tuning and engine. The one that tune easy without dyno are lot my complicated to install.Or this has been my experiance. Then Im very machanical inclined and not so computer inclined.

Good question.....the bigger the build goes the more flow you need to expel the exhaust. For your typical 95',96', 103' with a .510 lift cam orcomparablethe Quiet baffle will work. When you start getting into the 2' intake valves and 107' with a .590 and up cam I would go with the free flowing baffle. I've seen some good builds fall on their face at 5000 rpm because of too much restriction from the quiet baffle, however using the free flowing baffle on a build that doesn't need it will suffer in the lower rpm power band where you ride all day long.
+1 to that!
