Curious of a few things- New heads- did you buy (whos heads)or did you flow the ones you had? What compression are you running? Did you tune?

Mentor- What do you dislike about the S & S cams?

Thanks very much. That 2nd 103" build you posted looks like a winner.

Yea....the TQ is over 100 from 2400 to 6000 and she sure was a smooth running bike. it had the SuperTrapp Mega with 21 dics and open end cap

1st one was the same build but it used a Propipe HS

Again, tell us about those new heads. If someone got into them and hogged their ports out and lost low RPM port velocity, there is nothing you can do to build a low RPM torque monster with them.

What exhaust are you running?

It sounds like duals...It sounds kinda like my RK after BB, cams, heads and the whole works.Mine just felt like a dog and I was pissed. So I removed th duals a put on 2-1 Thunderheader and it was night and day. I gained alot more lowend grunt. Just a thought......

Heres the layout. Harley pro performer heads. Forged 10:5.1 pistons. was told a 95 jug bored to fit. 103. S&S 585 gear driven cam. Reinhart true duels. 108/109 . But it kicks in around 2800 and has good power after 3000 rpm. If you keep the bike around 3000 to 3800 it runs well. Low end it dont have much. Im sick of those loud pipes though. the 200 psi compression really makes the pipes sound off. Would love to have a quite performance pipe. My 117 had power everywhere. low end, top end . It was a torque monster. I loved it. Iv got $5,600 in this build and it sucks as far as im conserned. I could only get it up to 120 mph. I opened it up this weekend on a trip from Atlanta and ran 100 plus and got 110 miles on a tank of gas.

ok heres a shot in the dark but here it goes...
a woods cam something in the 6hgwould help a great deal with that compression also the pipes are not the greatest and the cam will also dictate ccp so i would assume the quench is correct and you are using the sert to tune with.
just because you spent that much dont mean you got out of it as much as you put into it.

Got a pc III. Didnt think the pipes will make that much difference from the test iv seen here. We had a 37G andrews cam in it and it was horrable.
