Thanks for the reply. Yes, btw it is fine as a bolt in cam. Anyone with before and after numbers, I'd love to know what they are and where the Torque comes in at, compared to just a stage 1.

lab, the catalog is wrong as far as the newer head models. Beehive springs on the 07&08's can handle these cams easily.
You're not a wiseass, Just don't believe everything you read on a website.

I'll chime in an alert you folks to a Bob Wood 6 in a 96" we justcompleted, for a client in Ft. Ann , N.Y., that rolled 104 hpand 114 ft/lbs. Our heads, 6 cam ,Rinehart 2/1, OE t/body, high flow air filter(NOT S/E, as they do not count as a high flow unit) Good numbers for what was done. Much more available if pistons, different cam, roller rockers, larger t/body.

lab, no disrespect taken. I originally saw that on their site too, and did research it. It is not "necessary" to use high lift springs. Because the lift of this cam is .555, it is in the category of a "high lift" cam. Beehive springs are generally fine up to lifts of .600,actually even a bit more. It is well documented that the Andrews 54's are great boltin camsfor 07 and 08's. As I said and a few others here, the beehive springs usedon 06's through 08's are fine for the lift these cams have. I have also personally verified this through one of the top tuners on the east coast. I'm not going to put anything in my bike that's going to "f" it up, trust me. The purpose of my original post was just to find others who have used this cam in my specific application, and see if the torque comes on where it was designed to.
