I guess I just don't get it, people buy a 20 thousand dollar bike, drop 5-6 bills on a shiny set of pipes, a couple more on an A/C and then have a problem spending 3-4 hundred to make the thing run like it should with a dyno tune, just because you cant see it, itdoesn't mean it's not worth it, it may be the most important thing you ever do to your bike.

Thank you all for your comments but all I really wanted to know is what they do when they Dyno tune a Bike and why it takes 4 hours..Didn't say I wasn't gonna get it done..

+2. And you get optimized ignition timing, not just AFR--what a concept, huh???

Some would say the 4 hours isnt even enough time to get a real tune! 8 to 14 hrs is more realistic if you have heavier engine mods and your looking for the best torque/HP and drivablity and fuel mileage. This is making your own timming and fuel maps BTW not dowloading a pre-fabbed map.

Default Oh yeah...

...try payin' close to $400 on a tune only to have your bike run not any better than before. I have to have it done AGAIN, by someone who knows what they're doing this time. You can imagine how that impresses me.....feel any better now?
