Default Drilled out backplate

Ijust put some V&H Double BBls on my 07 FB, I have a K&N airfilter (OE size) will that workas ahigh flow AC with the backplate drilled with alot of holes?(want to keep the football on

You do know that you keep the football cover on the Stage 1 backplate and filter, yes?

Sooooo, Then I will be able to breath correctly with this filter(K&N) and unmodified backplate?

dont know why you want to drill out the back plate
K&N with the stock back plate and cover are fine. The filter itself increases the air flow. more holes allows more debree IMHO
