i tried to start my bike the other day, it tried to crank but it wouldnt turn over, battery is fully charged and there is gas in the tank, choke was also pulled out. please help

 

When you try to turn it over, what do the lights do? If they dim appreciably there is a big draw, and it could be the starter. If they almost or do go out, you have a bad connection, most likely at the battery.

 

If you really know the bike is fully chargd the first thing to check is the battery terminals to make sure there is good contact and no corrosion on the terminals. Make sure the gas line petcock is turned on ,twist the throttle twice and hold the throttle one third open while cranking with choke all the way out. If you cant get past the turn over part, try checking the cables at the starter then the starter solonoid.

 

Do you hear any clicking sound coming from the starter or relay? When you depress the starter switch you sound hear a clicking sound. If not check the starter relay and then comfirm that the starter solenoid is getting 12 volts.
