Anyone with information about what aftermarket exhaust pipe options are available for an 08 Rocker?

 

mufflers or full systems?

 

Depends on cost, (not really interested in spending a grand to make it sound better), and the impact on the fuel curve.

 

I don't think anyone makes full systems for this bike yet. Will muffler's, ie Vance and hines Straightshots, give me a decent rumble without needing to change fuel calibration?

After analyzing the article, it bacame clear to methat we rocker owners (96" VTs) are free to choose any sound & lookwe want with varying degrees of performance +/- ~ 10 Ft. Lbs. TQ and +/- ~ 10 HP without all the EFI remapping & all the other mis-"information" provided by so many well-meaning (or financially-vested) "experts". Check out the article and decide for yourself.

 

That's some great info, thanks. I wish they would have tested the Vance and Hines straightshots. I've heard they need to have the baffles replaced often though.
I have another post in suspension. Any idea's there?
