Default Vance and Hines baffle question

Hello friends,

I was considering getting Vance and Hines short shots staggered pipes for my '05 Dyna Superglide Sport.

Just curious if I should get the baffles or not. I'm not worried about volume, but more concerned about performance and keeping my engine alive for the long haul.

Any opinions and suggestions are always appreciated.

Here are links to photos of my ride... for some reason I can't direct post them... maybe they are too large?

Thanks again!

I have a 08 Ultra that I bought with the Vance & Hines Big Shot Duals on it with the stage one kit. I am actualy going to install a different baffleto remove the higher pitch sound out of the duals.Took the wife for a ride this evening and my ears are still ringing. Good thing I am not going cross country this would really be miserable. This is a note from the tech support and a phone number you can ask questions. Good Luck..................

We do offer optional Quiet baffles that will quiet them down 4-5%. The QB’s replace the stock ones.

Part# 21869 RET $29.95 each BIG SHOTS (PC)/ HS QUIET BAFFLE

right on. I was under the impression that you didn't get baffles at all with the pipes.

I live in Phoenix, AZ.. the louder the better. It's really flat out here and cages never seem to see me until they've run me over.

I just yank in my clutch and give them an earful
