Default Dynojet Numbers? How are these?

Horsepower went from 67.19 to 73.62. Torque went from 80.99 to 85.00. I thought the numbers improve more than this, or is this pretty good? I added a Vance and Hines Python exhaust, Arlen Ness Big Air Sucker, and PCIII.

Also, if I go to a true dual exhaust, I was told that my numbers would increase to probably close to 100 for both torque and horsepower. Is this true???

Thank you for your knowledge sharing.

If the same guy who told you that true duals would get you 100/100 as did your tune, find another tuner--he needs to put the crack pipe down, so to speak.

As for the numbers, they seem low for a stock 96 with higher flow a/c and lower restriction mufflers.

There's no way on earth simply adding an exhaust system will take you from the numbers you have to the 100/100 club. That requires cams, head work, increased compression (and if you engine is an 88"er, a bump up to 95"), and a good tune.

If you do want to get into those kinds of numbers, look into a Head Quarters kit. They'll get you there!

Cheers!

I agree Im adding heads, cams throttle body,rockers,2 into 1 compression and few tricks I know from my dragracing years and will be happy if I can clear 110 horese out of 95 ci.provided I can tune the thundermax to work with all of it

Your numbers are a little below average from what I've seen but all dynos aren't created equal. If it feels good to you, go with it.
No pipe change will get you to 100/100.
