Default Rush or Rinehart slip-on's for my 08 RK?

I'm on the fence on which set of slip-on's I'm going with for my 08 RK. I like the look of the Rinehart slip-on's with the eagle beak tip's. I also have Rinehart staggered's on my 07 LR and like them. BUT, I've heard good things about the Rush Slip-ons. Any advice? Whats a good baffle size for the Rush slip ons for good but not annoyingly loud sound? Thanks!

We sell a lot of both and both sound great, what I like about Rush is their chrome matches the rest of the exhaust system better then the rineharts, more baffle choices, priced better than rineharts too.

"Whoa dude, your scoot sounds sweet! What pipes you runnin'?" Even the most hard core 1%er can't pass-up the opportunity to brag on his ride a bit.

wydopn231 has the right idea, head to anywhere that the bikes gather, sit, watch, and listen. When a model like yours arrives and sounds the way you like, ask. I sure would repay the compliment by letting you know what I'm running for pipes.

BTW, I had the V&H ovals, some lucky ebayer has 'em now as I went to the Rinehart Eagle Beaks on a pair of V&H Dresser Duals. Between the look and the sound, it's just the way I want it. Can't tell or describe how it sounds, but it's the wayI want it to sound.

I decided on Rush for my 07 Heritage but I'm still deciding between 1.75 and 2.0 baffles. Rush recommened the 1.75's to me in response to my email to them saying I want a deep rumble but not ear-splitting loud.Since there are no bike nights in Pittsburgh in winter to go hear the different size baffles, I called some HD dealers in my area and and asked if they have any bikes either on the floor or stored for winter for customers that had Rush pipes. I foundsome. They were happy to fire them up. One was 103" bore RK with Rush 1.75's and they were plenty loud. You could try the same thing with dealers in your area.

I've had the Rush on my 07 Heritage since last may and have put 8400 miles on them.I ordered the 2" and even the (wife) and I have really liked them.. I do think they have gotten a little louder with miles, but we can talk to each other with no problem while keeping a steady speed. On the other hand they have no problems setting off car alarms on the roadside if you nail-it. They emit a great deeeep throaty sound at idle and under load..
