As long as the battery is up, push starting will work well as it will crank the engine at starter speed or higher. Tried it once for the hell of it. 5th gear.

Good to know. Seems that a kick would work then, if you had one.

 

My 80" Evo kicker is a lot easier to kick if I have about 20 lbs in a back pack! Found that out at the grocery store with 2 3 liter bottles in the pack. I'm a skinny old guy and appreciate the boost. A lot cheaper than compression releases.
