Default RE: SE 204 CAMS

Andrews 21 or 26 are better than any SE cam for low end, and a cam change IS the way to improve the torque in a twin cam engine. Just increasing the displacement, without altering the heads or cams, doesn't do much since you're still severely limited by the EPA stock cams and the low-flowing TC heads.

A lot of guys really swear by the Andrews 26 but I've got a couple of buddies who say to go with the Andrews 21. Are there any disadvantages to going with the 21 vs the 26?

Anybody out there have any information on wether SE 203 cams would be a good choice for a '01 Road King with an SE air filter and touring mufflers. The prom has been flashed, but no other engine mods have been done. Also will I need toreprogram the prom.
I'd like more low end torque.
Thanks, any info would be helpful.
Our dealer had a special on the 204 se cams this winter $479.00 OTD , My son did his 07 duece with cams and stage 1, he had 3200 miles on his.
I am stilltrying tochoose a cam of my choice.. Weboth are leaving the 96 in engine stock other thanstage 1 and cams..
We rode two days ago as our weather here in IN, was above 60 for the first time this year and his 07 Duece with newly installed stage 1 with V&H BR
2-2,sert, K&N filter and 204 cams. He just totallyblowed away my 07 stage 1, Heritage...His Duece sounded great and the Idle lope is sweet. and low to midpower really surprised me.Hehas the standard baffles and they are loud but not tooooo loud... Now I am thinking about putting in the 204 cams and probably V&H Big shots long on mine next year if they have another winter special...
They put the 204 cams in with the 4 degree advance gear to lower the power range to 2000 rather than 2600 and it really makes a difference ....

The 21's run out of steam too early for my tastes, especially in a bike with 3:37 gearing like mine has.
