Cycle Shack baffle for SE mufflers?
I heard from a local dealer that Cycle Shack is making baffles to use in SE street performance mufflers. I sent an e-mail to CS and got back a "Yes, we are making baffles for the 64985-07's except for 2008 California catalyst equipped versions" response.
Does anyone have any experience using these baffles? I am running two piece SE street performance mufflers (64985-07) which are very quiet and didn't dyno out too well on my '08 Ultra with a 103" stage II build. The torque curve was flat in the low 90's peaking at 96 ft-lbs around 3500 rpm. HP maxed out at 86 around 5000 rpm.I am looking for a little better flow without too much more loudness if that's possible.

RE: Cycle Shack baffle for SE mufflers?
Another place you might want to look at is www.bigcitythunder.com i just got a set of baffles from them the other day for my V&H. They have a baffle the SE Slip-ons. I was impressed with the sound. They were a lot deeper sounding then what the baffles that came with the pipes.

I have Cycle Shack slip on mufflers. They perform well, but they are loud.
I looked at the baffle page on Cycle Shack's web site:
http://www.cycle-shack.com/cycle/ago...roduct=Baffles
And the replacement baffles they show look like what I have in my Cycle Shack slash cuts - perforated baffle with air scoop.
So if that's the baffle you get, be prepared for increased sound.
With time I have gotten used to them and they sound good but I had to recalibrate myself for the loudness factor.
