RE: 1200 to ? conversion
There are a couple of guys on the forum that have done or are currently in the process of doing just that. I believe they posted to this forum or the Sporters forum a litle bit lower on the welcome screen.
Try a searh, if still no luck, post back and we'll help ya find 'er.

Google Trock, S&S, Zipper's. There are big inch Sporties around. I ran a 77" stroker motor back in the '70s. It was a flat out big cammed hot rod and had so much torque it would twist the flexi-flyer Corbin Gentry rigid frame.
Edit: Just looked in my J&P catalog. S&S makes an 89" kit , "Sportster 89XLSS Hot Set-Up", for 86-03 engines.

Man I hate following Skip...
The first bump up for the 1200 is the 1340cc or 88 ci, the pistons have a notch on the bottom and you need to use larger cylinders and have the block bored. And then there's the 90 ci, I've seen a 94 ci which I think is a stroker, and Zipper make a 100 ci if you really what the whole ball game. Plus I bet there others out there.
