SLIP-ON SOUND COMPARISON
In the past, I've run V&H straight shots andV&H short shot staggereds on a Superglide and a Low Rider. Also ranV&H Fishtail slip-ons on my Springer Classic. Now I've got this STOCK, carbureted, Road King Custom and I'm trying to decide which way to go here. I'm looking for a bunch of opinions as to the sound of these three: V&H Ovals, Rineharts with the black tips and the new BUB 7 slip-ons. Any input is appreciated - don't see any need to go with headers, just the mufflers.

cost of and mehod of slip on attachment
When I first purchased my bike, a 1200C Sportster) they told me that if I bought Screaming Eagle slip-ons I didn't need to install a stage one and instead of running about 1300 or more it would only cost about 300 for the slip ons and the installation of new air cleaner and etc. were not required. Now, when I went to have it installed they suggested that I go through with the stage 1 costing about 1300. Oned dealer told me no the other yes. Any recommendations.

RE: cost of and mehod of slip on attachment
I went with the Rineharts ($349.00 Mark @ M&M cycles), the K&N RK3909 A/C, V&H Fuelpak, and 2 new HD clamps for the pipes for a total of $766.00 delivered. Did install in a couple hours. Was a piece of cake, and everything worked great out of the box.
