Default Slip On exhaust-4 different answers

Have 07 Road King Custom interested in slip ons only for now (cycle shack, pythons or rush) no remap or jet pack just bring em home and slip em on. 2Harley dealers in area insist that i cannot just do that, they say (which i know) that bike will run hot and possibly crack my pistons (?) They say my plugs will turn white and bike will be to lean that i cannot just slip on the exhasut. Even though ive read other post ide like forum brothers to answer this for me. Any help is appreciated

We've installed probably hundreds of Rush mufflers with the 1 3/4 baffle without a hi-flow or tuner and a/f ratio stayed at 14.7:1 at cruise,BTW stock mufflers were identical.
They run lean out of the box,if you install a tuner it'll only help.

All I know is if was in your shoes I would be putting some sort of fuel management system on my bike pc3 or sert. Stock 07-08's run pretty lean to begin with.

I would definitely remap the FI, dont want to be any leaner than you already are form the factory. Why Dont you save some money and go with the Fuel Pak and a H/F air filter and do it yourself? You'll save money b/c your doing it all yourself. You dont need a mechanic to do this basic work for you.
