Default ? about kuryakyn hi five air filter

I have a Kuryakyn Hi five on my softail and it came with a K&N air filter that also says kuryakyn on it

It has some part #s but when I went to the K&N web sight the part # would not work

maybe I punched them wrong? or like some companysdo, is this particular filter only made for kuryakyn and can only be purchased from them?

Why do you need a filter already?

I dont need one I was just curious for when I did
thought perhaps it would not hurt to have an extra on hand and thought it may be cheaper to get from dist
rather than HD dealer

K&N filters are good for 1 million miles...............I doubt you'll ever really need to buy a new filter, as long as you maintain the one you have properly.

if is is a k&N filter, you just clean and re-oil it every 10,000 miles or so, no need to replace, unless you are trying to spur the economy and then go ahead.
