RE: SE slipons
You won't notice much . All mods should be done in balance . Less restrictive exhaust without a greater intake volume isn't efficient. Together they add a nice boost and allow the engine to operate closer to its design spec. I've had 3 stage I's (99/02/07) and noticed improvements over stock on all . All used SE slip-ons

RE: SE slipons
Performance will be nill, as a matter of fact, the dealership will install the exhaust and will tell you that as long as you don't change the air cleaner that no remap of the EFI is required, which is a good indication of what is going on, you will get the sound and that is about it. You may think you feel some performance increase due to the better sound, but you won't see any.Go ahead and do this and then later on you can put the A/C on and a use one of the many options for adjusting your air fuel mixture to math. It is perfectly fine to do this mod by itself for the sound only, but no performance will be had. If you really want to test this, pay about $30 and have a dyno done before and after.

RE: SE slipons
Thanks for the info. Parts and accessories are priced over the top down here and after paying $32,000 for the bike $600 for a couple of SE slip on's has to be considered especially if they don,t do anything but sound just a bit different or touch better.
Should just drill them out and see what happens.
Thanks again, John
