After doing a search I've read that Chevy or GM SB1 lifters are the same as the HD lifters, does anyone have a part# or know if this is true?

I remembered an earlier post on this and did a search for chevy lifters.... well i thought i cut and paste the post but being technically challanged it didnt work. So do a search for the above and the one the says re: lifters is the one. Crane lifters for a small block chevy were the ones used.

Chevy small block lifts are the same. Check on ebay for Harley lifters and you will find that Gaterman products (bgater on ebay) sells a whole set of Harley "B" equivalent lifters for like $48. Falcon also sells Harley lifters on ebay which I believe are the Chevy lifters for less, I think it is like $30. Steve (maineultraclassic) is going to use the Falcon's I believe. If you do a search for his posts, he had a link to the ebay lifters.

I used Crane lifters for a Chevy. They are the exact same lifter that Crane markets for HD's just with a different part number. A call to Crane confirmed this. The Chevy part number is 10530. I bought a set of 16 from Summit for 200 bucks shipped, used 4 and sold the other 12 to others at 50 bucks per 4. So, I ended up with 50 bucks in my lifters....not too bad, IMO.

Still not sure which ones I'm going to use............I want the Gaterman ones but he can't ship for a couple of weeks. I've emailed Falcon about theirs, but they haven't got back to me yet.
