RE: True Duals and Torque Cones
Python just came out with a true dual system give them a call to see if they put the ar cones in the head pipe. If they did they could answer your question. This spring I will be installing cones into a 03 ultra to see how it would work but sorry no input at this time. But V&H says they tried it and did not see any thing. That is on their web site.

RE: True Duals and Torque Cones
I've been running TC's on my Samson true duals for almost 50,000 miles. Without them there is a major power loss/torque loss on the bottom end...feels like there is a giant weight attached to the bike.
Mileage wise there hasn't been any change from my stock pipes that I started out with. Now I'm upgrading to a 95" motor so I'll have to wait and see what happens with the power/torque when I'm done. I am running a PCIII also to compensate for the freer flow air/exhaust systems.

RE: True Duals and Torque Cones
Jack that is exactly what I have been looking for. I know Torque cones work because I ran them for a couple of years with drag pipes. The thing I like about them is because they are both equal distance from each exhaust port you truely balance the motor as far as back pressure goes. I remember after I put them on feeling the bike ran so much smoother. Has no efffect of the loudness or sound.
Thanks
