Who makes the blue needle that was in the HQ 2520 kit? I have a N9EZ in their now and am going back to stock 45/190 jets from 50/200. Recommendations????

 

Are you sure about that? I still see them listed on their website and no mention that they're no longer available.

yup - called this morning, they are no longer selling any cv carb kits. and yes they are still listed on the web site.

 

use an N72S or an N65C needle. the first one is from an fxrp and the 2nd is the 88-89 sportster needle.

 

N72R = HD# 27175-90

N72S = HD# 27178-90

N65C = HD# 27094-88

 

Put the 45/190 jet combination in with the N65C needle, and be SURE you have an unmodified slide to go with it. I just installed that setup in a friends Dyna with a SE air cleaner and a set of Python mufflers. It worked well. The engine is still stock except for the listed changes.
