I've heard rumours about some adjustable "baffels" for exhausts (supertrapp?).
These "adjustable baffels" has a great impact on the sound output, as in, "I will not wake the neighbours" or "I will have loud pipes :-)".

These "baffels" could either be controlled mechanically (wrench it in) or electronic (adjust from the bar).

Have anyone heard of a such thing?

Harley makes such an animal but I am not sure about others.

Supertrapp is the only exhaust i know and you have to put in or take out the disc for the difference.

This is the HD exhaust i think he was talking about above, but it doesn't say anything about changing sound only performance. I'm sure it does the sound also.

From what I have heard the active touring exhaust sucks. I'm guessing it's true..never had much luck with moving parts in exhaust systems...

got to check out some cheap SE silp ons my buddy has today..sounds good and not too noisy...not sure which SE pipes..
